Gabby is a 1st year PhD student in the Centre for Research into Ecological and Environmental Modeling (CREEM). Gabby’s research is focused on using opportunistic acoustic datasets to estimate the abundance of baleen whales. When she is not thinking about whales, she is baking cakes or reading.

I'm a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow at St Andrews, in the School of Maths and Stats. I work on modelling the fluid dynamics of oceans, atmospheres and deep interiors of planets beyond Earth. I love to combine lab experiments with simulations and theory, and use record player demos to talk about it!
